Barksdale Home Care Services, CEO - ROSA KITTRELL BARKSDALE is an advocate for quality home health care. A trained nurse she knows what it means to care for others. One of seven children, Rosa is a graduated from the Long Island Hospital School of Nursing in Boston and earned her Bachelor's Degree from the College of New Rochelle.

Rosa has a varied and extensive background in the field of nursing and health care.
Her career path led her to positions as a nurse, a drug abuse and health teacher for the Board of Education in New York City, a top-selling sales representative of medical equipment for Could Statham and a Professional Hospital Representative for Abbott Laboratories where she developed a 800,000 dollar territory to over 8 million in sales in a two year period.

Today, Barksdale Home Care Services, Corp. is one of the largest agencies of its kind in Westchester owned and operated by woman. The Agency employs, registered nurses, nurses aides, home health aides, personal care aides.

In addition, to her professional achievements she's been featured in publications including Black Enterprise Magazine in the "Making it Column" and "Innovative Professions" section in 1989 and 1993. Special feature article in the Westchester County Business Journal, Entrepreneur 1994, Gannett Newspaper business sections, "WHO CARES?
