HHA/PCA TRAINING PROGRAM

BARKSDALE HOME CARE SERVICES Have been training Home Health Aides and Personal Care Aides for over a decade at their on-site equipped training facility. 
The training site has a bedroom, bathroom and kitchen to allow for real life practice in a real life setting.

Our training program provides both classroom and supervised practical training. Class sizes average 8-10 students with no more than 12 students. The training program is overseen and approved by the Department of Health. 
The programs operate as: 
PCA = 8 Days M-F 9 am to 5pm
HHA = 3 Weeks M - F 9 am - 5pm

 What are the requirements to Train and to become a Home Health Aide?
• Must be able to complete class hours, clinical hours and Pass all exams,
• Must provide a recent and complete physical exam and be in good physical and 
emotional health,
• Must be 18 years or older,
• Must have a high school education and pass our pre-employment test,
• Have experience of caring for someone,
• Must be able to work in the USA (Legally Authorized) and provide documentation,
• Must be able to read, write and be able to speak at a conversational level of English.
